Marks a purposeful step forward as a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between the Passionist PDO, the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO)– GenSan, and the Lower Baluan Fisherfolk Association.

The Passionist PDO has faithfully pursued its 10 Advocacies over the years, including the Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Advocacy. This initiative aims to strengthen and formalize the adoption of the mangrove area at the Sarif Mucsin Boardwalk Eco-Tourism Park in Baluan, General Santos City.

The Passionist Community was represented by Rev. Fr. Julito S. Villarente, CP, and Rev. Fr. Orven O. Gonzaga, CP. CENRO was represented by Ma’am Ma. Katherine Lopez, while the Lower Baluan Fisherfolk Association was represented by Ma’am Saida Suib.

This is a continuing expression of gratitude, environmental protection, and the preservation of God’s creation.
