The 8th Asian Philanthropic Development Conference

uly 24-26, the Passionist PDO team, together with Rev. Fr. Orven O. Gonzaga, CP, Passionist PDO Executive Director, and Rev. Fr. David T. Ong, CP, Passionist PDO Deputy Director, gracefully attended Spring Rain Global's 8th Asian Philanthropic Development Conference, held at the Amari Bangkok Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, with the theme: "Nurturing Transformative Change in Philanthropy."

The 3-day conference was filled with purpose, gathering participants to express their love for humanity. Each Philanthropic Development Office (PDO) shared its own advocacies, dreams, and desires for the greater good.

The event commenced with a Holy Mass, followed by a series of talks given by international speakers. Some PDOs also shared their triumphant projects, programs, and activities, as well as the challenges they faced in achieving success. The plenary talks were followed by panel discussions and a Q&A session.

This conference has been a beautiful reminder of the imperative power of philanthropy and the importance of serving others. The discussions were filled with a profound love for God and a strong desire to serve humanity.
