The journey proved to be challenging, stiff, and exciting, but the team cannot deny the beauty of nature that served as a backdrop during their trek. They were accompanied by Notre Dame of Bolul students who assisted them in reaching the destination. Afterward, the team successfully arrived at Sitio Lambusong and had their orientation.

On the following day, January 14, the team initiated the main purpose of their visit: to launch the feeding program. It commenced with Animation led by Passionist PDO Volunteers, followed by a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Elmer N. Malaran, CP.

Subsequently, Dr. Holijane explained to the parents the importance of deworming before conducting the feeding program. Dr. Glenda Antonio, the CEO of Spring Rain Global, also explained why it is imperative to prepare food properly. Simultaneously, the Passionist PDO conducted reading sessions for students from Grade 3 to 6, and at the same time, Dr. Hollijane started the deworming process for Grades 1 to 2.

Moving on, the team organized parlor games for the students and had Arroz Caldo afterward. During the soft launch, Sir Mario Magaling expressed his warmest welcome to the visitors and sponsors, conveying his heartfelt thanks for the program that would significantly benefit the students. Lastly, with a happy heart, the team enjoyed a community lunch and departed after. Gratitude was extended to all sponsors, benefactors, and donors for supporting this 120-day program.

The Passionist Philanthropic Development Office invites everyone to join this journey, where every meal served at Notre Dame of Bolul becomes a symbol of love, compassion, and a step towards a brighter future for the CMIP students. Here’s to a meaningful and transformative six months ahead!
