Moved by the Spirit

On June 7, 2025, the streets came alive with energy, color, and camaraderie as the community gathered for the Colored Fun Run, themed as “MOVED BY THE SPIRIT”, a vibrant event dedicated to supporting the healthcare and retirement of our Passionist priests.

The day began with a solemn Holy Mass, setting a tone of gratitude and purpose. This was followed by an energizing Zumba session, which brought participants together in movement and excitement before the run officially commenced.

Three sets of runners—covering 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km—took to the course, each driven by their own personal goals and a shared commitment to the cause. With determination, they pushed forward, embodying the spirit of perseverance. Every participant who successfully crossed the finish line was honored with a finisher’s medal, while top finishers in each distance received winner’s medals in recognition of their achievement.

The event was spearheaded by the PPDO, in collaboration with the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Sun Valley-Official, and was further supported by Barangay Sun Valley, ensuring peace, safety, and seamless coordination throughout. Their efforts contributed to the resounding success of the event, as participants, donors, and sponsors came together to create a day of unity and shared purpose.

With ideal weather adding to the experience, the Colored Fun Run was more than just a race—it was a celebration of community, generosity, and togetherness, proving that when people unite for a noble cause, the impact reaches far beyond the finish line.
